WHAT OUR FOOD AND BEVERAGE SUPERVISORS DO Our Food and Beverage Supervisors oversee all aspects of food and beverage operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and guest satisfaction. You’ll lead a team, manage inventory, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18+.
- At least one year of previous leadership experience.
- At least one year of food and beverage experience.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
- Strong knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Proficiency in computer software programs and English.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: ServSafe , TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol, and Allergen Certification (within 30 days of hire).
Responsibilities
- Ensure execution of all food and beverage service programs, including ordering, planning, product handling, and display.
- Maintain cost of goods sold (COGS), waste, and misuse by following set systems and procedures.
- Implement service efficiencies, including FIFO (First In, First Out), cooking oil maintenance, and cleanliness.
- Support the F&B Manager in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Execute training, coaching, and performance management of food and beverage team members.
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and engaging team members to ensure a high-performing workforce.
- Provide clear direction and support to ensure adherence to company best practices and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with local Board of Health guidelines and cleanliness standards.
- Utilize company software for ordering, inventory management, timekeeping, and operational logs.
- Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly checklists are utilized and completed.
- Monitor operations to optimize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.
