About The Position

The F&B Shift Supervisor is essential in overseeing daily operations within the food and beverage department, ensuringa high level of service, quality, and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keenattention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations is essential.
  • Able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring compliance with service standards andpolicies.
  • Train, motivate, and evaluate staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high-quality food and beveragestandards.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, address concerns, and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Assist in managing inventory, including ordering, receiving, and controlling food and beverage supplies.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of all dining areas, following health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare shift reports, including sales and labor cost analysis, and communicate findings to management.
  • Implement promotional initiatives and special events to enhance guest engagement and revenue.
  • Other duties as assigned.
