About The Position

We are looking for a Front Office Supervisor to join our great Team! Our Hampton Inn & Suites with 140 beautifully appointed rooms/suites is located just off I-190 and is in the heart of Buffalo. Just two blocks away is the free downtown train, the NFTA Metro. The KeyBank Center or Canalside for sports, entertainment, and activities are only one mile away. The Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton is one of the 50 hotel properties owned and managed by the award-winning hotel management company, Buffalo Lodging Associates.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of previous hotel food and beverage or restaurant environment experience is required.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service is necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Assists in overseeing guest services and breakfast operations; ensuring superior service is a priority.
  • Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between breakfast staff, front office staff and management.
  • Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure Excellence in service for all guests.
  • Responsible for preparation and execution of morning food service including cooking, food prep, cleaning, and any other required task requested by management.
  • Establishing and ensuring quality standards are attained and maintained.
  • Managing inventories for: cost of goods sold, kitchen equipment, linens, etc.
  • Responding and resolving all guest complaints with regard to food timely and appropriately.
  • Inspect kitchen and dining areas for cleanliness and preventative maintenance upkeep on a daily basis.
  • Supervise breakfast team.
  • Supervisory responsibilities include training employees, appraising performance, rewarding and counseling employees; planning, assigning, directing work, addressing on the spot complaints and resolving problems.
