About The Position

As the Food & Beverage Storeroom Supervisor at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, you’ll keep our restaurants, bars, and events running smoothly behind the scenes, all in a stunning beachfront setting. Your organization and leadership directly support unforgettable guest experiences across the resort. The Storeroom Supervisor oversees and coordinates activities in the F&B Storeroom.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains the storeroom and affiliated areas for cleanliness, organization and proper food handling and sanitation. Policing all storeroom areas of unauthorized personnel.
  • Completion of requisitions, invoices, and transfers before forwarding to accounting, recording accuracy, costs and extensions, signatures, and proper general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure proper receiving of products by examining deliveries for specifications, quality, properly recorded weights and accuracy of invoices. Take proper action for all orders received that do not meet standards including returns and requests for product credits.
  • Helps in maintaining stock pars as requested.
  • Maintain daily cost sheets, receiving sheets and processing daily requisitions and invoices of both food and non-food items.
  • Aids in tracking and expedites shipments to ensure on time delivery.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform routine cycle counts and full physical inventories.
  • Ensure proper rotation of stock (FIFO) to minimize waste and spoilage.
  • Use resort inventory and purchasing systems to track inventory levels and generate reports as needed for management or to research and identify count/usage variances.
  • Aids in identifying and reporting maintenance needs and/or repairs of equipment provided by suppliers that are used in the F&B Dept. This includes: Coffee, Coke Machines, coolers and freezers etc.
  • Advises employees on care and preservation of items received, stored, and shipped; methods and use of equipment in handling, storing, maintaining, and shipping stock; and related problems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support resort operations and management.
