About The Position

The position involves providing an excellent dining experience to guests at Cache Creek Casino Resort. The role requires exemplary guest service skills and extensive knowledge of food and beverages, ensuring that guests receive timely and accurate service in a full-service restaurant environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and correspondence.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively.
• Mathematical skills to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Responsibilities

• Take food and beverage orders from guests.
• Describe Chef's specials, featured wines/spirits, and promotions confidently.
• Deliver food orders to guests dining in the restaurant.
• Carry a 27” oval tray containing hot and cold food items.
• Perform steps of service and maintain restaurant service standards.
• Practice safety and sanitation techniques.
• Obtain TIPS certificate and Guest Service Training within 90 days of employment.
• Perform proper table side wine service and present wine appropriately.
• Buss tables, seat guests, and perform side work as assigned by management.
• Provide excellent service to guests by following service standards and menu knowledge.
• Navigate through the POS system for transactions and order placements.
• Perform self-banking duties and reconcile paperwork with minimal variance.
