About The Position

The Food & Beverage Program Management & Communications role at Vail Resorts is designed for an experienced individual in program management and internal communications. Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in program and project management for critical, cross-functional projects and related communications.
  • Excellent self-management skills including organization, goal-setting, time-management, self-motivation, and stress management.
  • Detail-oriented with a drive for results and the ability to anticipate business needs.
  • Ability to navigate multiple priorities and flex in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to draft compelling communication plans.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Extremely proficient in Microsoft suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day program management activities including initiation, planning, resource planning, scope management, dependency management, risk management, and ongoing communications.
  • Lead program management communication efforts, developing presentations, memos, and communication plans for various audiences.
  • Make recommendations regarding program needs and solutions to maintain optimal workflow and team effectiveness.
  • Lead project management for select elements of the program and related initiatives.
  • Identify gaps, potential risks, and propose options to overcome issues and roadblocks.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define and deliver objectives, dependencies, success criteria, scope, requirements, and due dates.
  • Own program and project-related communications and escalation to internal team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage and support meetings, ensuring teams stay on track to meet stated objectives.
  • Draft communication plans and associated communications in a compelling and consistent voice.
  • Serve as a key communications resource for the central F&B function.
