As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the daily operations and long-term strategy of all food and beverage outlets across the resort. You'll play a key role in ensuring outstanding guest service, maintaining high operational standards, and leading a motivated and professional team. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Food & Beverage Manager (or equivalent).
  • Certified Food Manager credential and alcohol awareness training.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to train and motivate a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of budgets, POS systems, and P&L statements.
  • Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays—and be on-call when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily food & beverage operations and develop strategies for long-term success.
  • Oversee budgets, purchasing, inventory, and cost control to support financial goals.
  • Submit purchase requests, manage invoices, and complete required accounting tasks on time.
  • Build strong relationships with vendors to ensure product quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Craft menus that highlight seasonal ingredients and align with vendor inventory.
  • Research new products and industry trends to continually innovate and enhance offerings.
  • Hire, train, and motivate a high-performing F&B staff.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to drive consistent excellence.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and ensure daily task completion.
  • Foster seamless communication with all resort departments.
  • Maintain a clean, inviting, and well-organized dining room, kitchen, bar, and service areas.
  • Lead by example, promoting professionalism and the 10 Characteristics of the SCR Way.
  • Assist with cooking, serving, or bartending during busy periods.
  • Support all resort standards, policies, and safety guidelines.
