Requirements

• Students must be currently enrolled in an accredited, US-based college or university, and be in good academic standing.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
• Desire and ability to work with others collaboratively.
• Excellent communication skills - both oral and written.
• Exceptional guest service skills.
• Effective organizational skills with a focus on details, quality, and consistency.
• Ability to work flexible schedule to include some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Internship students will be immersed in various aspects of Food & Beverage and our culture of creating enriching experiences at Loews Hotels & Co.
• Learn guest service standards across different restaurant styles to pool-side operations and extensive meetings and banquets.
• Participate in the Food & Beverage internship components including Learning Plan, Mentoring by a Loews Leader(s), Reflections, and Value-Added Experiences.
• Experience working with Restaurant, Banquets & Meetings, Barista, Pool/Beach-side service, and specialty outlets.
• Complete weekly reflections to capture learning and maximize the mentoring experience.
