About The Position

The Food & Beverage Coordinator is responsible for providing efficient food service procedures for all food areas and assisting the Food and Beverage Manager in daily preparations for upcoming events. This position is responsible for delivering an exceptional food, beverage, and service experience for all our guests.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in the food service industry
  • ServSafe Certification or similar certification is required
  • Must be able to work irregular shifts to include nights, weekends, holidays as needed
  • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and have strong leadership skills
  • Must have strong mathematical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Must be able to work well in a group setting
  • Experience in supervising staff in order to effectively execute a successful event
  • Experience and success in customer service and leadership
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
  • May be required to stand for extended periods
  • Will be required to operate a computer
  • Facility has intermittent noise

Nice To Haves

  • TABC Certification is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the facility's food & beverage areas and special events to ensure a quality, consistent product
  • Support in the training, mentoring, and supervising all food & beverage team members
  • Assist with opening and closing of food & beverage locations, catering kitchen, portable stands, and portable bar locations
  • Maintain clean and functioning kitchens throughout the facility
  • Collaborate with F&B Manager in completing weekly and monthly inventory reporting
  • Assists with catering orders: supply, food preparations, room setup, service, breakdown, etc.
  • Stocks food & beverage stands
  • Support the F&B Manager with research into new food & beverage items, to create and implement new menu ideas that reflect current trends
  • Follow all appropriate local and state health department rules and regulations, including safe food handling procedures
  • Effectively manage customer complaints and suggestions
  • Coordinate with other managers and vendors regarding catering for special events and parties
  • All other duties as assigned by management
