About The Position

Food & Beverage Attendants (Servers) are responsible for handling reservations, greeting customers, taking orders, bringing dishes, cleaning tables, and handling payment transactions. To ensure that SOP Basic standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual. To take a hands on approach in the operation of the outlet(s) To attend daily briefing on preparation, service and menu. To be knowledgeable of the food and beverage items in the restaurant To master and perform the service sequence standards for both buffet and a la carte service styles. Serve food and beverage to guests according to prescribed service standards and procedures with emphasis on speed accuracy. To contribute to overall guest experience metrics through the delivery of the Crowne Plaza Brand Standards and service behaviors To liaise with the supporting departments on daily operation and quality. To establish a rapport with guests maintaining good relationship. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned. To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s Policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety. To attend all required training sessions/ programs. To ensure cleans and maintain equipment, tools, fixtures, service area in the station assigned. To be responsible for cost saving on guest supplies, food supplies, electricity, water, etc.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work on Guam, USA without restrictions: US Citizens US Permanent Residents Residents of Federated States of Micronesia (FSM)
  • Must have Health Certificate and ABC Card
  • Service years - one (1) years of experience in cash-handling role. Hotel experience preferred.
  • Must be flexible to work all shifts as per business need.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
  • Education - High School Diploma is required
  • Service years - 1 years of experience in cash-handling role. Hotel experience preferred.
  • Language - Fluent in English (speaking, listening, reading and writing)
  • Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees.
  • Must be able to obtain a government-issued Food Handler’s Certification.
  • Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
