The Food Runner position assists the servers by taking guests the correct food and drink to the corresponding table and seat position. The Food Runner will also assist servers by taking drink orders and refilling drinks for guests while ensuring that all orders are delivered quickly and efficiently. This role involves ensuring guests have appropriate tableware, double-checking orders, preparing sauce cups and cutting fruit as needed, and setting up the expo line for service. Additionally, the Food Runner will bus tables, sweep and mop work areas, sanitize common areas, take out trash, and uphold sanitation and food safety principles. The position also includes completing opening/closing duties for both Front of House (FOH) and Back of House (BOH) and reporting any unsafe conditions or incidents to the manager on duty.
