As the Food & Beverage Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of different Edge &Nuna Restaurant Operations. This includes ensuring safety standards are met, overseeing staff, maintaining equipment, managing schedules, and developing engaging recreational activities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a passion for customer service and recreational management.

  • Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Supervise and support front-of-house and back-of-house staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching to maintain high levels of productivity and guest satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and control costs to maximize profitability.
  • Resolve customer issues and ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of the pool, recreational areas, and related facilities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all pool and recreation users.
  • Supervise and train pool attendants, and other recreational staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including water quality standards, safety equipment, and emergency protocols.
  • Manage pool scheduling for private events, group lessons, recreational programs, etc.
  • Plan, organize, and lead recreational programs, events, and activities for guests or residents.
  • Monitor and manage budgets for pool and recreation operations, including staffing and supplies.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage) to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the restaurant industry.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with POS systems.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Proven experience as a restaurant assistant manager or similar role in hospitality environment.
