About The Position

Food & Beverage and Rentals Team Member Wild Waves Theme & Waterpark Position Summary Food & Beverage Team Members are responsible for delivering friendly, efficient, and high-quality service while preparing and serving food and beverages throughout the park. This role includes cashiering, cooking, food preparation, stocking product and condiment areas, and maintaining cleanliness of food service locations. Team Members may also be scheduled to work in Cabanas or Games based on operational needs. This position plays a key role in creating a positive and enjoyable guest experience.

Requirements

  • Strong guest service and communication skills
  • Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid Washington State Food Handler’s Card
  • Prior cash register or point-of-sale experience a plus
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to communicate professionally with guests, coworkers, and management
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and lifting
  • Occasional climbing or balancing
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently
  • Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • Work is primarily outdoors and subject to varying weather conditions
  • Noise levels may range from moderate to high

Responsibilities

  • Provide friendly, helpful, and professional service to guests
  • Follow all guest service standards and code of conduct guidelines outlined in the Team Member Handbook
  • Support Wild Waves’ safety-first culture by maintaining a safe work environment and following all safety procedures
  • Work collaboratively with fellow team members and leadership to support park operations
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work areas for guests and team members
  • Perform cleaning duties as needed, including bending, stooping, and use of approved cleaning tools and supplies
  • Prepare food using ovens, fryers, and other kitchen equipment in compliance with company standards and Washington State health regulations
  • Assist guests with menu selections, take orders, and process transactions
  • Stock food products, supplies, and condiment stations
  • Monitor inventory levels and help control waste and shrinkage
  • Check in cabana guests and assist with daily reservations
  • Take food and beverage orders or deliver food to cabanas
  • Provide attentive customer service to cabana guests throughout the day
  • Clean and reset cabana areas as needed
  • Provide friendly customer service at Games and/or Locker locations
  • Assist guests with game play instructions, prizes, or locker usage
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned areas
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food stands, cabanas, games areas, and stock rooms
  • Perform additional duties as assigned based on department and park needs
