About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Research and document food insecurity challenges facing college students in urban environments, including collecting data on local food accessibility, analyzing current support systems, and identifying service gaps.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of food security resources, assistance programs, and support services available to college students in the target area.
  • Create educational content and awareness materials about food insecurity, including social media posts, blog articles, and informational guides for student populations.
  • Assist in identifying and pursuing grant opportunities, including researching potential funders, drafting proposals, and maintaining grant application calendars.
  • Support fundraising initiatives by developing campaign materials, coordinating virtual events, and engaging with potential donors, college students, and community partners.
