Requirements

• High school diploma, GED (preferred), or combination of education and relevant work experience.
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Previous experience in food service, hospital experience preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in ensuring the preparation and delivery of high-quality meals, including texture-modified and therapeutic diets in accordance with the facility’s menu.
• Support proper receiving, storage, food preparation, service, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work, serving, and dining areas.
