About The Position

Requirements

• Vocational or Technical education required.
• Previous supervisory Food Service experience, preferably 2 years food service experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
• Food safety knowledge required.
• Florida Food Handlers Card required.
• Computer skills necessary.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task, especially during peak times.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all patient food service activities, including patient tray line, diet office, floor stock, and reprocessing operations.
• Maintain and improve standards of food service.
• Assist in maintaining and improving patient food service procedures.
• Ensure that department areas, equipment and machinery are set-up to work at appropriate levels.
• Evaluate patient menu selections and make adjustments with diet order guidelines and patient preferences.
• Inspect trays for 100% accuracy on tray line.
