We are currently recruiting for a Food & Nutrition Services Assistant to join our team! As the Food & Nutrition Services Assistant, you will perform a variety of tasks including deliver, pick up of patient trays and menus, record patient consumption, record delivery, and pick up times, maintaining current diet checklists and completing related daily reports. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months food service experience preferred.
• Previous experience in hospital food services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine duties related to preparation and serving of food.
• Prepare food for cooking by washing, peeling, shredding, slicing, and mixing various food items.
• Operate dishwasher or assist with washing/sterilizing dishes, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.
• Clean kitchen work areas, collect and dispose of garbage.
• Assist with food stocking.
• Serve food in cafeteria for visitors and staff and in patient room.
• Work in the dish room when needed.
• Work on patient tray assembly line following menu directives for determining food items for each tray.
• Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
