Meadia Heights Golf Club is located two miles south from the city center of historic Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is managed by Bobby Jones Links. The club offers a challenging private 18-hole championship course layout, draped over rolling hills bordering the area’s world-famous farmland. Meadia Heights is hiring for Food and Beverage Servers.
Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (May vary by state)
- Encouraged to have all certifications such as RAMP
- Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.
Responsibilities
- Presents menus, answer questions, and makes menu recommendations
- Utilizes the point of sales system and places orders with the kitchen accurately
- Attends all applicable pre-meal meetings.
- Handles members concerns calmly and alerts management
- Responsible for cash handling and the accuracy of receipts at day’s end.
- Incorporates safe work practices and safe food handling standards.
- Completes side-work (delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, wiping tables and removing debris, etc).
- Maintains professional conduct with members at all times.
- Communicates clearly with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Adheres to health department sanitation standards including handwashing, allergen awareness and table sanitation
- Maintains a clean, professional appearance and adheres to workplace conduct standards including phone and device use policies.
- Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
