About The Position

The Food & Beverage Manager at Hilton Garden Inn Camden Waterfront is responsible for overseeing the service standards, execution, supervision, and training of all food and beverage staff within the hotel's operations. This role involves managing guest experiences, staff management, financial oversight, and ensuring compliance with brand policies and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Food & Beverage Management in an upscale hotel or restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of wines, cocktails, and beer.
• Strong working knowledge of Micros POS system.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to make quick decisions in high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure appropriate and up-to-date training and education related to dining practices and menu offerings.
• Manage the restaurant in terms of guest experience, staff management, and financials.
• Set up and run/manage banquets and weddings.
• Act as the go-to person for events.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all F&B-related brand policies and company-wide initiatives.
• Assist the F&B Director, AGM, and GM with effective budgeting and forecasting throughout the year.
• Coordinate with team leads to ensure all supplies are ordered as needed and pars are met.
• Design and implement an effective cross-utilization platform for associates.
• Review all purchase requests of unit managers prior to submission to the F&B Director.
• Maintain accurate liquor inventories and ensure cleanliness of all dining outlets through routine audits.
• Forecast daily linen consumption and coordinate cleaning processes.
• Monitor serviceability of F&B uniforms and forecast uniform consumption.
