About The Position

The Club House Restaurant Manager is responsible for the management of all aspects of Restaurant and Beverage departmental functions and work areas, in accordance with the Hotel standards. This position directs, implements, and maintains a service and management philosophy which serves as a guide to respective staff. The role includes hands-on supervision of the management team and line staff to ensure all standards are met in applicable areas and outlets of responsibility. The manager will oversee recruitment, hiring, and retention of staff to ensure the restaurant is fully staffed with well-trained team members, maintaining appropriate staffing levels during shifts and ensuring quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • 4-5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably in a 4-star hotel.
  • Knowledge of various food service styles and inventory management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Strong computer skills for staffing and payroll management.
  • Health and Alcohol Certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise management team and line staff to ensure standards are met.
  • Recruit, hire, and retain staff to maintain a fully-staffed environment.
  • Ensure Members Lounge is fully staffed with a minimum of 1 Bartender.
  • Manage Beverage Cart operations according to business levels.
  • Conduct daily line-ups and communicate operational and service issues.
  • Develop and adhere to staffing levels as per the Staffing Guide.
  • Manage staff scheduling to maximize retention while maintaining minimum staffing levels.
  • Develop and conduct training programs for staff.
  • Ensure satisfactory completion of training prior to staff promotions and transfers.
  • Research and document results of staff development efforts.
  • Manage staff relations, including counseling and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with Brand Standards and Audit Standards.
