About The Position

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience in food service operations within a healthcare setting.
• C.D.M. certification in healthcare is required.
• Certified in safety and sanitation related to food service.
• Experience in a long-term healthcare environment is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the healthcare dining services team to provide high-quality food service to residents.
• Develop and oversee menus for Health Center residents, assessing their preferences and nutritional needs.
• Assign work assignments to dietary personnel and ensure standards are met through spot-checking.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal sanitation and health standards in food service operations.
• Maintain records, reports, and schedules as required by regulations and requests.
• Coordinate healthcare services with nursing personnel and communicate with dieticians regarding patient food service.
• Mentor and lead a diverse team of dietary personnel.
