About the position
The Food and Beverage Manager at Spinx is responsible for overseeing food safety, consistency, presentation, profitability, and expense control within food and beverage operations. This role supports the General Manager and ensures a high-quality customer experience by leading a team dedicated to customer satisfaction. The manager will also be involved in training new employees and maintaining operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and consistency in food and beverage operations.
- Support the General Manager in daily operations.
- Complete computer-based training for newly hired employees.
- Achieve Food Safety Certification and maintain certification.
- Conduct 4-6 weeks of Food and Beverage training for staff.
- Conduct 4-6 weeks of Retail operations training for staff.
- Direct and coordinate staff to provide excellent customer service.
- Maximize store sales and profits while adhering to budgets.
- Create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
- Plan and prepare work schedules to meet customer needs.
Requirements
- Minimum of two years related food service or retail management experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Valid in-state Driver's License with required auto insurance.
- Acceptable motor vehicle report.
- Achieve and maintain NRE Certification.
- Ability to work 50 hours per week.
- Availability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
