About The Position

The Food and Beverage Lead is responsible for supporting the F&B Supervisor with the daily operations of Café 1297 while ensuring excellent guest service to patrons.

Requirements

Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
Must have an OLCC Permit at the time of hire.
Possess or obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment.
Must have 1-year experience in a restaurant environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing.
Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission.
Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.

Responsibilities

Politely and courteously greets guests entering the restaurant.
Assists the F&B Supervisor in administrative tasks, Team Member training and support, highlighting and focusing on the 7 steps of service and SPIRIT.
Assists Bartender/Food Servers in guest service as needed.
Completes all voids, discounts, comps, and cash out procedures and authorizes them.
Oversees the work of Bartenders/Food Servers on shift as well as setting section assignments and breaks as needed.
Notifies the F&B Supervisor or MOD of any issues that include but not limited to absences, tardiness, guest relations, updating the F&B log book daily ensuring completion.
Remains knowledgeable on all food and beverage offerings, reviewing daily changes to the menu and specials.
Completes side duties as assigned, ensuring all areas are prepped and ready for the next shift.
Other duties as directed by management.
