About The Position
As a Food and Beverage Host/Hostess at Scene 75, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary responsibility will be to present a positive first impression of the establishment, showcasing our commitment to friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. You will greet guests upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated from the moment they step through our doors. In addition to greeting guests, you will be responsible for caring for their needs by refilling beverages and performing light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning glasses and menus. As a member of our energetic team, you will also be expected to answer phone calls and assist with to-go orders when necessary. Your availability must include nights and weekends, as these are peak times for our restaurant. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working as part of a team to deliver exceptional service. Your role will involve managing the flow of guests into the dining and bar areas, providing accurate wait times, and assisting dining room staff by setting and clearing tables, replenishing water, and serving beverages. You will also be responsible for issuing dining charges by verifying orders, calculating taxes, and totaling bills for to-go orders. Handling payments, reconciling cash drawers, and contributing to the overall team effort will be essential aspects of your job.
