About The Position

The Food & Beverage Director is responsible for the overall strategic leadership and daily management of all food and beverage outlets, banquets, bars, lounges, and culinary operations. This role ensures exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, financial performance, and alignment with brand standards. The Director oversees all F&B team members, managers and chefs, drives profitability, ensures safety and compliance, develops departmental leaders, and executes property-wide strategies to elevate service, quality, and guest satisfaction.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in the Food and Beverage or hospitality field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic planning and achieving measurable business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in outlet menu design and development, including conducting quarterly menu item sales analysis for each outlet.
  • Develop and implement training programs that support increased profitability, safety, and security standards.
  • Analyze monthly Food & Beverage P&L statements and execute corrective action plans as needed to improve performance.
  • Support catering operations by fielding inquiries and assisting with event coordination.
  • Administer proactive labor and inventory management programs, including establishing and maintaining par levels across all F&B areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures for product ordering, receiving, inventory control, and cash handling.
  • Collaborate with outlet managers to maintain proper operations, service standards, and accurate scheduling aligned with staff-to-sales guidelines.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of F&B outlets to ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, inventory accuracy, and company performance programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Directly supervise team members at the location, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
  • Train, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high performance standards.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Assist in appraising performance and rewarding team members for their contributions.
