The iconic Hilton Waikoloa Village is looking for its next Food & Beverage Coordinator! Join the amazing banquet team operating over 66,000 square feet of first-class meeting, pre-function, and exhibit facilities, including extensive outdoor areas, our Hawaii convention center resort boasts the largest amount of event space on the outer islands. Coordinate and perform administrative duties, including answering telephones, typing and composing correspondence and documents, preparation and processing of banquet checks, daily edits for F&B team members, opening and distributing mail and photocopying various documents. Responds to incoming telephone calls and inquiries using clear and positive English communication. Directs and coordinates requests to the proper personnel. Serves as a direct interface between the Director of Food & Beverage with guests, vendors and internal departments, follows through as required, utilizing initiative, independent decision making, tact and diplomacy. Opens and distributes departmental mail (postal and inter-office). Prepares and maintains current, accurate departmental payroll reports and records. Prepares and processes banquet checks in a timely and accurate manner. Input rosters and handle additional rostering requirements such as covering call outs/pop up. Maintains and updates various information listings (i.e., industry directories) for the hotel. Ensures the timely submission of complete, accurate information.
