About The Position

Cherokee Town & Country Club is looking to hire a full-time Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to hire, train, and coach our staff to help maintain our status as a premier club. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in hospitality/Restaurant Management, Business, or a similar field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager.
• Prior experience in a highly reputable private club or fine dining establishment is preferred.
• Knowledge and experience with food and beverage operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in directing the activities of the Country Club food and beverage staff.
• Hire, train, and schedule the team.
• Ensure the team works cohesively and the restaurant runs smoothly.
• Manage daily restaurant operations and prepare for special events.
• Provide hands-on assistance and management to support and motivate the team.
• Oversee club operations through direct coordination with Department Heads.
• Maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and member satisfaction.
• Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professionalism throughout the staff.
• Maintain order and enforce club rules, policies, and employee conduct standards.
• Manage the full employment cycle for Food and Beverage employees, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and terminations.
