Fontanini located in McCook, IL just outside of Chicago is seeking Sanitation Professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a food manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a manufacturing setting preferably food manufacturing
• Understanding of GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Ability to read labels requirements
• Ability to perform essential functions of the job per job workstations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Cleaning up excess meat from the floor using a squeegee or shovel
• Hosing down equipment and machinery with high pressure, hot water hoses
• Applying foam to all surfaces in production areas, scrubbing equipment and machinery, rinsing foam from equipment and machinery, applying sanitizers and oil/air mixtures to all surfaces in production areas
• Disassembling equipment and machinery for cleaning purposes, once clean reassembling equipment
• Complete all required production paperwork
• Required to perform all required quality checks according to standards
• Follow all people safety guidelines, food safety guidelines and company policies
• Participate in safety and quality trainings
• Additional duties as assigned
