About The Position

"Service by people who give a damn." Evolution Maintenance, Inc. is a Tennessee based commercial facilities service company that provides repairs, installation and PM services for national retailers and Government facilities. We offer a laid back environment built around fairness, opportunity, effective communication, and quality work at a fair price. We are currently looking for a Follow Up Specialist. This position will work in support of field Commercial Maintenance Technicians and the office Customer Service Team to move work orders from their current status towards completion. Daily reporting will highlight key work orders to address, and you will research each ticket to determine what information is missing and who to contact along the path to resolution. Each day will be unique and might involve shifting priorities. Attention to detail and an analytical nature are a must. If you like volume, playing detective, and communicating with various parties, this might be the job fit for you. We have a great training team that will get you up to speed, but there will be a learning curve due to the various types of work for a diverse set of customers. In this role, there will be a mixture of in person, electronic and telephone communication with internal staff and technicians as well as dialogue with customers and parts suppliers/manufacturers. This is a Monday through Friday office role. We have a weekly on-call schedule that rotates across the team (you receive additional compensation for on call coverage). Three to five years in a similar office role is required. Ideally, the candidate will have experience in a facilities maintenance role, but that is not required. The ideal candidate is self sufficient, thorough, an effective communicator (both written and oral) and is a proven multi-tasker. Excel and various work order systems will be utilized daily.
