About The Position

TradeWinds is looking for a Folding Room Attendant to retrieve, sort, segregate, and process clean or soiled linens using industrial mechanical folders and ironers to meet laundry production standards for quality and performance as directed by the assigned supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous experience operating and using industrial mechanical folders and ironers
• Valid Driver License preferred
• Industrial/resort laundry experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Distribute, retrieve, and process clean or soiled linen
• Meet laundry production standards for quality and performance as directed by assigned supervisors
• Must be able to perform independently
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as those are our busiest timesPhysical Requirements: This job can be physically demanding. To be selected for this position, the successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to do activities like (but not limited to) the following safely and repetitively:
• Walk and stand for 8 hours or more.
• Move wheeled carts weighing 500-1000 lbs.
• Lift & transfer linen loads weighing 50 lbs.
• Extensive walking with prolonged standing in the same location,
• Sustain upper body repetitive movement
