About The Position

The Folder position is a vital role within our production operations team, responsible for accurately and efficiently folding nylon and polyester fabric manufactured flags to prepare them for distribution or further processing. This role ensures that all materials meet quality standards and are handled with care to maintain their professional appearance. The Folder will work closely with other team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines, contributing to the overall success of the department. Attention to detail and consistency are critical, as the folded materials often represent the company’s brand to clients and customers. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bending, pushing, pulling. Perform repetitive tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Manually fold nylon and polyester fabric flags according to specified guidelines.
• Shakes out, smooths, folds, sorts and stacks flags according to type and size.
• Inspect materials for holes, tears, markings, and separates defective articles for team lead inspection.
• Requires the use of small scissors for trimming loose threads.
• Folds flags in preparation for wrapping.
• May also attach metal grommets or tacks to flags, using hole-punch-machine or grommet attaching machine.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and resolve any issues promptly.
