Folder Gluer Operator (Finishing Department)
About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Folder Gluer Operator to join our Finishing Department. In this role, you will learn and operate a variety of finishing equipment, ensuring products are produced efficiently and meet quality standards. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift: 3rd (10:00pm-6:00am) Compensation Starting at $25/hr (Based on experience) plus $1.50 shift premium
Requirements
- Ability to work in a team environment and support production goals
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Must successfully pass a mechanical aptitude assessment as part of the hiring process
Nice To Haves
- Gluer operating experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Train to set up, operate, and maintain finishing equipment, including: Domino 110 Alpina with Easy Feeder and Cartonpack II Masterfold with Easy Feeder, Batch Inverter, and Cartonpack II HHS gluing systems Heiber Schroeder window machine
- Learn and perform proper feeding and packing procedures
- Operate both hot melt and cold melt gluing systems
- Assist in leading and coordinating crew activities to ensure efficient production
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met and defects are identified
- Operate Powered Industrial Vehicles (PIVs) as needed
- Perform additional duties as assigned
