About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Folder Gluer Operator to join our team in Minneapolis, MN, 55428. In this role, you will play a vital part in our production process, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision, we want to hear from you! 2nd or 3rd shift is available. Schedule is 4 10-hr shifts per week. Enjoy a 3-day weekend! Meyers runs Vega and Bobst Folder Gluers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Folder Gluer Operator or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders and specifications.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate folder gluing machines to produce high-quality finished products.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Document production data and report any discrepancies to management.
