Ensure accuracy of foiled material coming from offset presses while maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Must be able to perform daily weekly & monthly maintenance. This person will also assist with other bindery operations such as cutting and collating as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Reads and understands schedules, job tickets, and multi-part specifications.
- Performs make ready by setting up foil, heat settings, and appropriate product dies.
- Inspects foiled sheets.
- Cleans dies.
- Moves 60-pound boxes to pallets.
- Adjusts heat and pressure as necessary.
- Sets register.
- Runs paper through machine.
- Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Inventories foil and supplies.
- Loads and offload foil press.
- Operates cutter.
- Responsible for cutting and boxing all stocks as called for in specifications of each job.
- Training: May assist in training others.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
