Ensure accuracy of foiled material coming from offset presses while maintaining cleanliness of the work area. Must be able to perform daily weekly & monthly maintenance. This person will also assist with other bindery operations such as cutting and collating as needed.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

Reads and understands schedules, job tickets, and multi-part specifications.
Performs make ready by setting up foil, heat settings, and appropriate product dies.
Inspects foiled sheets.
Cleans dies.
Moves 60-pound boxes to pallets.
Adjusts heat and pressure as necessary.
Sets register.
Runs paper through machine.
Maintenance: Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment.
Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Inventories foil and supplies.
Loads and offload foil press.
Operates cutter.
Responsible for cutting and boxing all stocks as called for in specifications of each job.
Training: May assist in training others.
Performs other duties as assigned.
