About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee the daily operations of Restaurant 1796. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As the Front of House Manager, you will be responsible for managing the front-of-house team, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in team management within a quick service fast food restaurant or similar hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management in a restaurant setting.
  • Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
  • Background in bar or cooking operations is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the front-of-house team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
  • Oversee daily operations, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Manage inventory control to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
  • Utilize Aloha POS system for efficient order processing and payment handling.
  • Monitor budgeting and financial performance to meet operational goals.
  • Implement health and safety standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
