About The Position

The FOH Dining Lead oversees all front-of-house dining operations, including dining rooms, room service, and catered events. This role ensures excellent service, cleanliness, and hospitality while working closely with culinary and community staff to meet resident needs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of related leadership experience (or equivalent education/experience)
  • Supervisory or shift lead experience
  • Senior living or healthcare dining experience preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
  • Comfortable using technology (POS systems, Microsoft/Google tools)
  • Valid driver’s license or ability to obtain within 90 days
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–30 lbs as needed
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English

Nice To Haves

  • Senior living or healthcare dining experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily front-of-house dining operations across multiple locations and events
  • Partner with the Chef Manager and dining team to execute high-quality meal service
  • Train, onboard, and supervise dining staff; serve as opening/closing manager as needed
  • Ensure exceptional resident and guest service; promptly resolve service concerns
  • Maintain dining room cleanliness and sanitation
  • Plan daily dining room setup, staffing, and service flow based on meal counts
  • Manage dining room inventory and conduct regular inventories
  • Support menu communication and resident-facing dining initiatives
  • Promote a safe, professional, and team-oriented work environment
