About the position
Rural Medical Services (RMS) is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their team in providing primary care in an outpatient clinic setting. This role is essential for delivering healthcare services to over 11,000 community members in Cocke and Jefferson Counties, Tennessee. The position requires a commitment to patient care and collaboration within a dedicated healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services in an outpatient clinic setting.
- Deliver healthcare to community members in Cocke and Jefferson Counties.
- Collaborate with a healthcare team to ensure quality patient care.
- Maintain current RN and Nurse Practitioner licensure in Tennessee.
- Manage patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in the State of Tennessee.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in accordance with Tennessee requirements.
- Active DEA number for schedule II-V controlled substances.
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (AANP or ANCC).
- 1-2 years of experience in primary care.
