About The Position

The FMO Supervisor is responsible for overseeing safe and efficient car inspection and repair operations at an FMO location. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety policies, training employees, maintaining positive employee relations, and managing operational efficiency in line with company goals.

Requirements

• Associate's degree (AA) desirable.
• One to three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Assure the safe performance of duties by employees in accordance with Safety Policies.
• Instruct and train employees in the proper inspection and repair of railcars in compliance with current Company and Industry standards.
• Foster positive employee relations, and ensure conformance to Human Resource Policy and Procedures.
• Maintain efficient and productive operation in accordance with Company goals.
• Control expenses related to the location's operations and distribution of labor.
• Serve as local liaison to host railroad, AAR and FRA.
