The salary range posted represents the low and high end of OSI's salary range for this position. Salaries will vary based on various factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, experience and performance. Base salary is one component of OSI's overall total rewards package. Other components may include bonuses, special pay programs, comprehensive time off, 401k with match and a full suite of benefit offerings for you and your family.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in related field is preferred.
  • Familiarity with FMLA and ADAAA is strongly preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.
  • Experience using HR software and HRIS databases.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and have the ability to read, write and speak in English and Spanish is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to all requests for leaves of absence and/or accommodations in accordance with standard company practices and current state and federal laws.
  • Provide general guidance and support to employees regarding FMLA eligibility, rights and responsibilities, including answering basic questions to help them submit their completed paperwork.
  • Communicate with employees, leaders and HR on the status of leave cases.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records for all leave or accommodation cases.
  • Provide general support to the Leaves and Benefits teams as requested.
  • Maintain compliance on all federal and state regulations on FMLA and other leave laws.
  • Understand and practice appropriate safety procedures through education, training, use of protective equipment, and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
