WHAT WILL YOU DO: The Temporary FMLA and ADA Assistant provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Administration-Benefits Department. This role assists with the processing, tracking, and documentation of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requests while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and one years of related experience; or a high school or GED and five years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, log, and track FMLA and ADA requests and documentation.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper files in compliance with confidentiality requirements.
  • Assist with preparing and sending standard correspondence (notices, reminders, and forms) to employees and departments.
  • Verify information for accuracy and completeness.
  • Serve as a point of contact for general inquiries related to FMLA and ADA processes.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, supervisors, and HR partners.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned to support HR operations.
