About The Position

Empirical is looking to hire a motivated FM Consultant to join our growing team! An FM Consultant position requires a proactive team member who can interface effectively with stakeholders, provide analytic support, and contribute to the success of enterprise-wide financial improvement initiatives. Serves as a Staff / Team member on financial management, or adjacent, projects to address requirements related to financial operations, reporting, accounting; audit readiness, remediation, and liaison; cost, performance, and budget to support resource management and mission operations; internal control program, assessment, and risk management; and financial transformation and innovation, including new and emerging technology, to optimize business processes and financial and information systems, and improve data integrity and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business management
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suites (especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) preferred
  • Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills
  • Ability to own work product development and demonstrate initiative and accountability for assigned task areas, effectively coordinating with team members and across various organizations.
  • Ability to interact effectively with people at all organizational levels of the firm and client.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently within a team environment and with a customer service focus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Ability to complete a background investigation and credit check, as well as being able to obtain a security clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is contractually required.
