About The Position

The ideal candidate for this position is responsible for operating production test equipment, troubleshooting and repairing defective products. The role requires a strong understanding of various technical processes and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities to ensure superior customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree and two years of hands-on experience or four years of hands-on technical experience without a degree.
• Experience programming a flying probe machine.
• Experience testing and troubleshooting printed circuit boards.
• Knowledge of Internet software, Microsoft Office, and Thermal Chamber Programming.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

• Board level Functional Test Program development in C, C++, LabVIEW, LabVIEW CVI, and/or Visual Basic.
• Experience with CAD tools to create schematics.
• Working knowledge of ICT, FT, and Flying Probe test platforms.
• Knowledge of electric circuit boards, processors, chips, and computer hardware and software.

Responsibilities

• Operate production test equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective products.
• Read schematics, diagrams, test data, and software output.
• Program a flying probe machine.
• Test and troubleshoot printed circuit boards.
• Develop board level Functional Test Programs in C, C++, LabVIEW, LabVIEW CVI, and/or Visual Basic.
• Use standard measurement and test equipment such as digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and power sources.
• Debug hard chronic failures and aging PCBA's.
• Recognize potential and existing problems and escalate to management for resolution.
• Communicate effectively in English and maintain excellent documentation.
