About The Position

The Fly Fishing Sales Outfitter is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support in a retail environment. This role involves greeting customers, assisting with product knowledge, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The Sales Outfitter will also handle merchandise, restock shelves, and promote various programs to enhance customer engagement.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change to customers.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale register system.

Responsibilities

• Greet and acknowledge all customers in a prompt and friendly manner.
• Support a strong commitment to world-class customer service.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Replenish product on shelves as required per merchandising guidelines.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and maintain pricing and signing.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Restock merchandise as required.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well stocked with supplies.
• Provide assistance to customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating their needs.
• Make product recommendations based on customer analysis.
• Promote programs including CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
