The Adjunct Applied Flute Professor will be responsible for teaching individualized flute lessons to students at the Reva and Sid Dewberry Family School of Music, starting in August 2024. This position is part-time and requires a commitment to fostering the musical development of students through personalized instruction. The professor will engage with students in a supportive and inclusive environment, helping them to discover their unique musical voices and prepare them for future artistic endeavors. In addition to teaching, the Adjunct Professor will participate in recitals and juries for the Flute Studio, contributing to the performance and assessment of students' progress. The role also involves collaboration with colleagues in the Woodwind area, participating in initiatives that promote the growth and visibility of the flute program within the department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for music education and a commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians.
