Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience in a technical, machining, or skilled trades profession.
  • Must be able to push, lift, and move up to 75 pounds of materials or equipment daily.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
  • This position requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift and trucks for movement of fluid drums (oils, coolants, solvents, and other fluids) between outside storage areas and inside distribution points.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of roll offs, metal chips, and solid metal waste.
  • Ensure machines have adequate room for chips to fall without overfilling bins across the campus.
  • Monitor government destruction bins campus wide within FAA guidelines.
  • Recognize developing machine problems and report to Machine Repair.
  • Monitor, remove, and replace full destruction paper bins across campus.
