Can you picture yourself here? You’re the person a customer calls when their pump won’t behave or a pneumatic circuit won’t commission. You listen, diagnose, and guide them to a fix—sometimes from your desk in Bryan, OH, and other times shoulder‑to‑shoulder in the field. You translate complex specifications, keep people safe, and make decisions that get factories back online. The challenge Ingersoll Rand pairs a 160-year legacy with startup intensity to serve industries from life sciences to clean energy. With solutions spanning compressors to precision liquid and gas handling—and the backing of 80+ brands—we’re looking for an expert who thrives at the intersection of product, customer, and field application. Your mission Be the technical go-to for industrial diaphragm and piston pumps, electric pumps, pneumatic valves and cylinders, pneumatic logic, and FRLs (filters, regulators, lubricators). Own the customer journey from selection and spec interpretation through installation, maintenance coaching, troubleshooting, and resolution. Lead field-level closures: coordinate repairs or replacements and elevate cases through the Quality Management System as needed. Equip commercial teams—review and proof technical catalogs and collateral. Influence new designs by voicing serviceability, quality, and reliability requirements. Run demos, assist with setup/installation, and conduct training for partners, end users, and colleagues. Publish training materials and knowledge base articles that scale your expertise. Exercise service-related decision authority on behalf of Ingersoll Rand. Diagnose electronic controllers interfacing with pneumatic diaphragm and electric pumps. Coach customers on electrical/electronic and pneumatic safety procedures. Guide startups and commissioning to successful handoff.
