About The Position

The College of Engineering and Technology at Grand Canyon University is seeking passionate adjunct faculty to engage and mentor students in the fields of IT and Engineering. Faculty members are expected to be energetic advisors committed to the academic, spiritual, and personal growth of students. The role involves teaching part-time, face-to-face instruction at the Phoenix campus, specifically for the course on Fluid Mechanics and Lab, which covers fluid statics, flow dynamics, and measurement techniques.

Requirements

  • Minimum: Master's in Mechanical Engineering, Master's in Chemical Engineering, Master's in Biomedical Engineering, or Master's in Aerospace/Aeronautical Engineering
  • Preferred: Doctorate

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University's Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
