The Fluid End Technician is responsible for inspecting and maintaining fluid ends in a high-cycle environment. This includes tasks such as inspecting for damaged or worn parts, washing fluid ends to remove stagnant sediment, and ensuring proper torque compression on stay rods and tie bars. The technician will replace valves, seats, and packing elements as needed, and make repairs to fluid ends. Additionally, the technician will assess and diagnose service issues, support maintenance staff, and ensure the quality of equipment through preventive maintenance and adherence to company standard operating procedures. Documentation of work performed within NexTier's CMMS is also required, along with final inspections of equipment to monitor safety and efficiency.
