About The Position
Overview Opportunity: FlowRider Wave Operator Create a safe, exciting, and engaging experience for guests utilizing the FlowRider surf simulator in accordance with established guest service and safety standards. Essential Job Functions Operate the FlowRider wave attraction with a focus on safety and exceptional guest service. Monitor rider activity to ensure safe usage and enforce ride rules and safety protocols consistently. Assist guests who may fall or struggle during the ride; respond quickly and safely to ensure their well-being. Educate guests on proper riding form, safety procedures, and FlowRider etiquette. Interact positively with guests of all ages, including children and parents. Perform daily inspections and maintenance of equipment and ride area to ensure cleanliness and functionality. Support other recreational or aquatic activities as needed. Follow sustainability guidelines and practices related to HHM’s EarthView program. Practice safe work habits, wear protective equipment, and follow MSDS and OSHA standards. Perform other duties as requested by management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and assist riders physically.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).
